Displaying Flags
Posted date : Nov 6, 2017.
Dear Bird Talk,
This is the e-mail I sent to the Flag Expert and his answer to me. I was questioning the combination Canadian and American flag. I think your readers will find this interesting.
“I am a Canadian who lives in Florida for the winter. Some Canadians in our park are flying flags that are one flag with both the American and Canadian flags printed on them. Is this practice followed in proper etiquette? What is suggested? What flags should we have outdoors, if any? I truly appreciate your help in this matter. Thank you.”

Reply: We are aware of the combination Canadian/United States “flag”; we would not recommend displaying it. We would suggest that you proudly display both the United States and Canadian national flags from two separate flagpoles. Thank you for your patriotic concern.
