Retiree Visa

We appreciate all of CSA’s work on increasing our eligible days in the U.S. and all of the other great info and support you provide. Regarding the Retiree Visa: We travel with our Canadian-registered RV to many locations in various states. The last update stipulates that eligible retirees must own a residence or have a signed rental agreement for accommodations in the U.S. for the duration of the alien’s stay. We always stay in commercial RV parks. Would our numerous short-term park rentals qualify us for the Retiree Visa?

Ed.: CSA is working hard to get this legislation ratified in the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives. Canadian RV owners and their unique mobile lifestyle are part of the discussion, which includes lobbying to include them in the accommodation requirement of the Canadian Retiree Visa. Stay tuned!
