Using Credit Cards in the US – and even more…
Posted date : Nov 4, 2017.
Dear Bird Talk,
We travel to Arizona in the winter and also like to use credit cards at the gas pumps. It took some time for us to be told of a solution, but there is one that works.
We use a credit card – an American $ Visa this year, to avoid paying exchange every time we buy something – and you can punch in the three digits from your actual postal code followed by two zeros. We assume any five digits would work as well.
This may be helpful. It was an attendant at a service station who told us what to do. Last year we prepaid as your previous writer did, and that is a nuisance.

Ed: This is incredible, if it works. I can assure you from personal experience that any five numbers does NOT work, but I will try this postal code method as soon as I can.
