TOWING COVERAGE (CDN $100 MAX.)
For each towing claim made, CSA Auto Club will reimburse you for the actual towing costs for a tow of up to a CDN $100 maximum.
TIRE CHANGE SERVICE (CDN $100 MAX.)
For each tire change claim made, CSA Auto Club will reimburse you for service occurring up to a CDN $100 maximum. The claim is for the cost of service only and excludes the cost of repairs and materials to the tire(s) affected.
BATTERY BOOST (CDN $100 MAX.)
The claim for battery boost is for service from a provider only, and does not cover the cost of a new battery, battery repair, battery rental or return. CSA Auto Club will reimburse you for service occurring up to a CDN $100 maximum.
FUEL DELIVERY (CDN $100 MAX.)
The claim for fuel delivery is for service from a provider only, and does not cover the cost of fuel. CSA Auto Club will reimburse you for service occurring up to a CDN $100 maximum.
LOCKED OUT OF CAR (CDN $100 MAX.)
(FIRST OCCURRENCE COUNTS AS 1 SERVICE CALL IF OVER CDN $20)
If the car keys are lost, or someone is locked out of the car, you will be reimbursed for the services of a professional locksmith not to exceed CDN $100 per occurrence. If the first auto club claim for the current membership year is for a locksmith, and the call charge is less than CDN $20, the claim does not count as one of the 5 total claims allowable.
EXTRICATION/WINCH (CDN $100 MAX.)
If you slide off of a roadway into a ditch or depression, and your car requires removal by extrication/winch, CSA Auto Club will reimburse you for service occurring up to a CDN $100 maximum.
ARREST BOND OR REIMBURSEMENT (CDN $550 MAX.)
If arrested for a traffic violation and if clearly innocent of the charge, CSA Auto Club, given proof of same, will reimburse you for the amount of your bail, up to a CDN $550 maximum.
CSA Auto Club will not reimburse for negligence of any type, and ineligible violations including driving while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, failure to appear for prior violations, driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license, or any felony.
Note that the total cumulative claim amount for the Arrest Bond, Legal Defense and Traffic Accident Assistance benefits cannot exceed CDN $1,000.
LEGAL DEFENSE REIMBURSEMENT (CDN $550 MAX.)
If charged with a traffic violation which requires legal council and if clearly innocent of the charge, CSA Auto Club, given proof of same, will reimburse you for the cost of your trial defense up to CDN $550 on legal fees OR up to 10% on legal advice.
The member must specify clearly which is being claimed for and send CSA Auto Club a copy of the legal billing for the charges at the time the claim is forwarded to CSA Auto Club. Legal counsel used cannot in any way be related through family ties to the claimant. Note that the total cumulative claim amount for the Arrest Bond, Legal Defense and Traffic Accident Assistance benefits cannot exceed CDN $1,000.
TRAFFIC ACCIDENT ASSISTANCE (CDN $550 MAX.)
IF OVER 250 KM FROM PLACE OF RESIDENCE
If involved in an accident and if clearly innocent of any fault, CSA Auto Club, given proper proof of same, will reimburse for commercial transportation charges to the intended destination, and when returning to pick up the repaired vehicle.
The claimant must file a police report and submit the report number with the claim to CSA Auto Club. Accident related living costs are covered by CSA Auto Club for an accident that occurs over 250 km from your place of residence. Coverage includes lodging, meals and car rental.
Copies of receipts must be included with the claim information submitted. Note that the total cumulative claim amount for the Arrest Bond, Legal Defense and Traffic Accident Assistance benefits cannot exceed CDN $1,000.
